What We Do

We know life is unpredictable and it can be a challenge to find quality child care at a moment's notice. Offering convenient hourly drop-in day care, flexible preschool, after-school child care, and camps, Wanna Play helps make balancing the schedule of an active family possible with flexible and cost-effective child care.

We’re here when you need us, with extended evening and weekend child care hours. Now you can enjoy a movie, dine, shop, exercise, run errands, accommodate a flexible work schedule, take in a game or take some much-needed personal time knowing that your kids are in a secure place, socializing and having fun.

Our Playcares are designed to give kids ages 6 weeks to 12 years a safe and entertaining place to play and relax while their parents are away. With our bill-to-the-minute drop-in care, you pay only for the care you need.

Why Play Is In the Name

We're so serious about play, we put it in our name!

Play is a child’s work. It unlocks their imagination, enhances reading readiness, develops cognitive thinking, as well as further develops gross and fine motor skills. Through play children develop empathy, compassion, and trust.

Play overcomes language barriers; you don’t need to be verbal to play. Play allows children to learn to communicate emotions, be creative and solve problems. It is an antidote to loneliness, isolation, anxiety, and depression. Sharing joy, laughter, and fun with others promotes bonding and strengthens a sense of community.

Because play is so vital to a child's development, our day care program and child care services emphasize learning through playing with toys, creating artwork, roleplaying, and story time. Your child will be enriched and nurtured through Wanna Play's Playcare services.

We're a drop in day care, so our flexible hours can match your busy or changing schedule.

Our Staff

All members of our staff have passed a Federal Fingerprint and Criminal History Background check, and are CPR/First Aid certified and must complete at least 24 clock hours of continued training each year. Staff who prepare meals hold a Food Handler's certification. Our staff is dedicated to creating a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere for the children in our care.

Each Playcare center is staffed with a full-time Licensed Director who manages daily child care activities, and ensures state licensing and company standards are maintained. Our Operations Director provides support to the Playcares and assists with child care program development. Our Directors are extraordinary people who have a commitment to providing the best child care service possible, and thrive on working with children.

We're defining the standard of flexible drop-in daycare with everything we do.
