Wanna Play Lakeline is proud to be a pioneer of high-quality, flexible drop-in day care in Austin, TX. Finding learning-focused child care that’s affordable, convenient, and available at a moment’s notice can be an enormous hassle, but Wanna Play makes it easy! Check out some of our programs.

We care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, and we offer a range of flexible, customizable child care programs to suit the needs of every family. Whether you’re looking for flexible full-time care, infant-care, flexible preschool, or occasional hourly drop-in care, Wanna Play has the perfect program for you!

All you have to do is register, choose your program, and you’re ready to use our services. Wanna Play Lakeline is all about making child care easy and accessible to more families in our community.

You can always make a reservation in advance to ensure a spot for your child, or you can drop by or call when you need last-minute help to see if a spot is available. However, we always recommend making a reservation for infant care, as spots in the nursery are limited for safety reasons.

Why Play is in the Name

Wanna Play Lakeline carefully balances child-led, open-ended play with teacher-led, structured activities so that children of all ages and personalities can learn, grow, and be challenged in a safe, supportive environment.

All of our child care professionals are fully screened and trained, and they are experts at helping children transition into a learning environment so that they can make friends and be ready to jump into kindergarten with a great attitude. We set kids up to be lifelong learners who are excited to tackle new challenges!

No two children are the same, and we understand that some kids need a little more encouragement and guidance to open up and engage with their peers. We’re experts at showing kids that learning can be a joyful experience, and we’re always there to help them build their confidence and discover their strengths.
